About Us

Nestled on the shores of the Kootenay River, Skattebo Acres is located at the long time home of Glade Valley Gardens. We believe in producing local, wholesome food to strengthen our local food system, while also contributing to the overall health and well-being of our community.

We are a family run farm of first generation farmers. As a family run business, we take pride in paying special attention to detail in the growth and care of our plants and animals on our farm.

 

We often remark that our farm feeds us three times:

Once while we are growing; once while we are eating at our table; and once when we are able to share the food we have grown with others.
